Time to Value
Answers are intentionally direct so customers, search engines and answer engines can quickly understand KOVIU’s scope and limitations.
What does KOVIU verify?
KOVIU documents visible property conditions, construction progress and selected records within a written scope. It separates direct observations from third-party information and matters requiring specialist assessment.
Is KOVIU an engineering or surveying company?
KOVIU is positioned as an independent property verification and coordination company. Engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, formal surveying, conveyancing and audit work should be performed by appropriately qualified professionals when required.
Can KOVIU guarantee that fraud will not occur?
No. An inspection can improve visibility and document evidence, but it cannot guarantee that fraud, defects, theft or disputes will be eliminated.
How quickly will I receive a report?
The proposed Standard Milestone Report targets delivery within two business days after the visit, assuming access and required documentation are available.
Where does KOVIU operate?
The initial service area is Nairobi, Kiambu and selected surrounding locations where dependable field coverage can be maintained. Expansion should follow operational capacity.
Can I pay from the United States, UK or Canada?
KOVIU is designed for diaspora customers and can quote in Kenyan shillings, with foreign-currency quotations where commercially practical. Payment options should be confirmed at booking.
Does KOVIU release construction funds?
No. The operating model recommends that customers pay contractors, suppliers, sellers and tenants directly through established channels rather than having KOVIU hold property funds.
Can a site inspection confirm legal ownership of land?
No. A physical inspection does not establish legal ownership, title validity, encumbrances or exact legal boundaries. Those matters require official records and appropriately qualified professionals.
